Oops! Error after WHMCS update Print

Sometimes you may receive an error after WHMCS update which may look something like this:

Oops! Something went wrong and we couldn’t process your request. Please go back to the previous page and try again.

This can happen randomly when browsing the WHMCS admin pages as sometimes something gets conflicted but it should resolve itself fairly quickly.

The real problem is when you get this error after WHMCS update and you cannot access any pages on WHMCS, either on the front end or in the admin area.

The most common reason for this issue is that something may have gone wrong with the update and it did not fully complete when using the auto updater inside WHMCS.

The most common fix is to log in to your cPanel account, view the File Manager and navigate to your WHMCS install folder.

From here, check to see if the install folder is present. If it is, delete this folder and then check your WHMCS install again to see if it is working.

Usually this will fix the problem, however, if not, please contact WHMCS support who should be able to offer additional help.
